As Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Stoke City to advance in the English FA Cup, Tariq Lamptey expressed his joy.
The Seagulls overcame Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium thanks to a goal from Evan Ferguson in the first half, advancing them to the next round.
"Job done, into the next round! Thank you for the support as always!," Lamptey wrote on Twitter.
The 22-year-old played on the left side of the defense for the English Premier League team throughout the entire match.
The Black Stars will benefit greatly from Lamptey's constant playing time under manager Roberto de Zerbi as they prepare for the AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
Although Alidu Seidu is injured, the former Chelsea defender is anticipated to play in both games.
In June of last year, Lamptey changed his nationality to play for Ghana and was a member of the Black Stars at the World Cup in Qatar.
